Adult Classes

Knife Skills

In this class you’ll learn the proper way to yield a knife including, cutting, chopping and sharpening. You’ll be a pro by the end! With our chopped stash we’ll make chicken vegetable soup, pork stir fry and a chopped salad.

Clean Eating

We’ll work on four anit-inflammatory recipes that are gluten and dairy free. They’re easy week night dishes that your whole family will enjoy. Asian fish in a packet is a completely make ahead meal. You can do it in the morning and then just pop it in the oven before serving. Ground turkey saute with ginger is served over cauliflower rice or rice and broccoli. Citrus Chicken is a favorite because the acidic sauce pair so well with the chicken and brown rice. It’s good on anything! Ground beef enchiladas are wrapped in collard greens and so delicious that you won’t even miss the tortilla.

Winter Soups

Stock up your freezer with these hearty winter soups that are a meal in themselves. We’ll make split pea soup with a ham hock stock. This soup is deliciously smoky and will stick to your bones on a cold winter day. Our minestrone is full of fresh veggie and Italian sausage. Accompanied by a fresh salad and crusty Italian bread, you’ll be satisfied. The red lentil soup is a favorite because of its heartiness and beautiful hue of yellow. It’s finished with lemon juice to highlight the Middle Eastern spices. Chorizo and beef chili is a different take because the chorizo adds a wonderful smoky and spicy element.

Cocktail Party

Cocktail party food is the best! Who doesn’t love bite size delicious food? We’ll kick it off right with mini crab cakes topped with a zesty mustard sauce. Beef crostini with horseradish sauce is always a fan favorite. Albodigas are so much fun to make and eat...who doesn't love meatballs. Mushroom croustades are delicious surrounded by buttery phyllo dough. Shrimp ceviche is an easy hors d'oeuvre to make and so delicious and refreshing. Lastly, gruyere gougeres are intimidating because of the pate choux dough, but as long as we're making it we may as well keep the cheese from one batch and make cream puffs for dessert!

Quick Weeknight Meals

These meals are sure to brighten up your weekday meal rut. We'll start off with ground pork stir-fry with broccoli and rice, quick red wine bolognese sauce with zucchini noodles, butternut squash risotto with pancetta and lamb and veggie rice. All of these are delicious, easy and make great leftovers.
